There Are No Absolutes
John is living in dark times …
… because, if you don’t already read the excellent Clients From Hell, you might have missed this post about a client asking about making the black on his web-site darker.
Client: Is there any way we can make that element more black?”.
Me: It’s #000000. So no.

Well, little did he know … turns out that he should have checked in with sculptor Anish Kapoor, who was …
granted exclusive rights to the color “Vantablack,” the world’s blackest black that was developed by tech firm Nanosystems and can absorb more than 99% of light, other artists have been up in arms.
He’s right, though. As the article explains, the world’s blackest black, while it might exist, is not for anyone. And, just because you have the blackest black, life might not be all roses … because that might mean that you don’t get to have the pinkest pink.
