Personal
Every framework applies to organisations. This one applies to you.
The same thinking that helps an organisation move from systems of record to systems of engagement works at the personal level. The same questions apply: What information do you actually need? Who are the people that matter? What do you know, and what are you just storing? Where are you, really?
Most people never ask those questions systematically. They operate on habit, on instinct, on what happened to land in front of them today. Which is fine - until it is not. Until the noise drowns the signal, the connections go unmaintained, the knowledge disappears, and the picture of where you actually are gets blurry.
Personal applies the domains framework to your own life. Not as a productivity system. As a structured way of thinking about what you are doing and why.
You are not an organisation. But you have a domain. And it deserves the same clarity.
The thinking underneath is different.
That is harder than it sounds. It is also more useful than almost anything else you could do.
Personal is the domain that does not appear on any org chart. It is also the one that determines how well everything else works. Get this right and the other domains compound. Leave it unexamined and they fragment.
