Here’s The Odd Thing
well a couple of things actually
the other chap found it on Facebook where it seems to be doing the rounds
but this chap - well - let’s say he’s not much of a ‘booker’ - so he set about finding it somewhere else.
odd thing number one - an american military movie produced in 1943 that is now circulating with AL Jazeera branding
odd thing number two - despite ‘going viral’ - as these confounded newspapers describe it - this youtube version has only 17,237 views to date in total. Marc Benioff shared it on Twitter after The Hill posted it - and that alone probably gave it more exposure just in the past three days than YouTube has ever given it.
Here’s The Thing
This chap happened to read one comment in the Twitter stream. Someone asking if anyone knew where the film was WITHOUT the Al Jazeera branding - because “people won’t watch it if they think it is from AL Jazeera” … and doesn’t that really just say it all !!!

.. and doesn’t that really just say it all !!! Even sadder. Just a guess - but I would put money on it …. if she happens to come across this post, she wouldn’t even know the image at the top - much less it’s relevance or connection to the topic at hand.
Even sadder if she is right - might explain the numbers
More strange than sad, though, for a Chap to find himself in agreement with both with the US Government – OK, not this one, but still – and Mitt Romney. Yes, that Mitt Romney. Even one would be a surprise, but both at once? Like this Chap said, strange.
