This Chap Is …
PROUD … to be a long time fan, supporter and promoter of Apple, for the past 15 years … and counting. Maybe a post on how that came to be would be in order. Now adding to that, also proud … not to be a US Citizen. I am ashamed - but really more sorry - for this fine country that allowed this misfit into the WhiteHouse. 
I am disgusted that The Republicans have allowed themselves to be hijacked - but then again - totally unsurprised, Totally. And that is the saddest thing.
Climate change is real and we all share a responsibility to fight it. I want to reassure you that today’s developments will have no impact on Apple’s efforts to protect the environment. We power nearly all of our operations with renewable energy, which we believe is an example of something that’s good for our planet and makes good business sense as well.

I am sure I will have more to say - and will append - as the other chap weighs in … but for now …. all I know is that I am someone that is a #PeopleFirst kinda guy. Someone that believes that ‘we the people’ are far more important than the corporations. (More on that soon - but will be talking about a new initiative in that areas very soon). - but right now - I doff my hat to the corporations that are actually standing up and saying #WTF!!! That said, right now - thank GOD - or deity / supreme being of choice - that POTUS actually controls nothing - which of course the Republicans worked out a long time ago - but that is another thing entirely. Which we should write about. Take note other chap. Oh and the other chap.
OtherChap 1 (Thing 1?) is definitely there on all the above – albeit with a little corporate-skeptic hesitation about Apple. But when US businesses are speaking out en masse in favor of the Paris Agreement, on business grounds, and the head of the EPA is agin it – well, summat’s definitely nasty oop i’t woodshed.
Thank goodness dear old Blighty does not have to worry about unelected millionaire demagogues with no regard for the needs of the average citizen…
A chief executive of a major charity… warned Theresa May’s decision to means test the winter fuel allowance could “literally cost lives”, as some of the poorest pensioners in the country lose support. They also condemned the “dementia tax”, claiming it would stop people from seeking necessary support.
