The Inauguration Spirit

In the little moment that remains to us between the crisis and the catastrophe, we may as well drink a glass of champagne.

… so said Paul Claudel, French poet and ambassador to the USA, in 1931 after a final vain attempt to stave off a widely-forecast international economic crisis. In that same (ahem!) spirit, allow me to introduce you to the ‘inauguration cocktail’ … or the ‘Nyet My President’ as us chaps call it …
