… see what I mean ? Will they all pray ? Or has the word just become another meaningless word in people’s limited lexicon. If it has, you might want to rethink, because outside of the USA, you will find that words are not taken so lightly. That might be a clue.
BTW, let’s not forget that most of those people ‘praying for France’ were the same people behind Freedom Fries. Remember them ? Fickle ? Of course. They are politicians, a breed that can demonstrate the art of the pivot in a single sentence. But as France gets dubbed ” our oldest ally ” we would do well to keep those times in mind.
And, while we are on that consistency thing, yes, I did notice that The Queen did not tweet in support of Beirut, but who did? Before Paris? And who is now ? Over the weekend - this …
… reveals the trending hashtags on Twitter. Today, Beirut is nowhere to be seen.
