Fiction Meets Reality

But Unlike Reality - Speaks Truth

I have shared this one before - opening scene to The Newsroom.

… no need to watch it if you have seen it before. But if you haven’t seen this one (I hadn’t) - then give it a whirl.

… and if you want some real world analysis, along similar lines … this is an excellent podcast from the very good people at Ted, during the course of which you will hear from Deborah Lipstadt, and moving on through Michael Specter, Laura Galante, Stephanie Busari and Carrie Poppy.

Bottom Line …

We seem to be so good at ‘saying it like it is’ in art - and as we get better and better at it - we seem to be getting worse and worse in real life.
