Queen Elizabeth II Rocks

Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t expected to ascend to the throne when she was born. She went on to become Britain’s longest reigning monarch, overtaking her great-great-grandmother Victoria.

Don’t quite know why I am referencing the LA Times on such a specifically English topic - but it is a very nice summary of an amazing reign - by an amazing woman. Just think - the first US President she met and engaged with were Eisenhower (1957) and even Truman (1951) - before she was The Queen,.
