Should you care ? Yes. Maybe it is me - but this is yahoo owning tumblr - breaking off from feed burner owned by google around RSS feed tracking - which is one of the few open syndication offers left - which google tried to quietly destroy - and i know feed burner will go the same way - so bit by bit rss is being destroyed by the large walled gardens who are in it fro them - not for us - I could go on - but this is the thin edge of the wedge - IMHO.
Recording this now - since I expect to see a lot more on this very soon.
