Micro Focus Addresses Mainframe Skills Gap

senal-micro-focus-300x214In my work with Glexnet - where we are focussed on the skills gap in the OIl and Gas Industry, our next identified Market Place is the Mainframe Business. We have known for a long time that the same issues that are apparent in Oil and Gas are reaching epidemic proportion in the Mainframe Business ( to see what I mean - if you know people who work in technology - ask how many of the younger connections are learning Mainframe Skills - and whatever that number is will be a lot less than the number of older people in Mainframe technology.

Microfocus and IBM have historically poured billions into this market place trying to get skills plugged in - so I saw and read this with great interest.
